"I love hotel j-mex. The worst part is to get down the stairs to the property if you have big luggage etc. everything else is perfect. This is a love hotel so you will see people using it for that purpose, and cigarette smell if that bothers you. If not, J-Mex is always my go to when I stay in Japan. The room is huge. The bathroom is the best. 100000/10 we love you j-mex see you next trip"

Shinjuku Granbell Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"I knowingly booked a room that was very small, but also reasonably priced. It was very clean and sufficient for a place to sleep after spending a long day visiting sites around Tokyo. It would have been too tight, however, if there had been two of us."
"My stay at this Japanese hotel was exceptional, largely thanks to the incredible staff. From the moment I arrived, I was enveloped in genuine warmth and attentiveness. It's clear that hospitality isn't just a job for them; it's a passion. Every interaction felt personal and sincere, making me feel truly valued as a guest. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction, providing a level of service that is increasingly rare. I left feeling not just rested, but also deeply touched by their kindness and dedication. If you're looking for an experience where you feel genuinely cared for, this is the place."
"I lovedddd this place so much. First of all, super affordable, great location, quiet and a few blocks you have the nightlife. So much to explore walking distance. Bed was comfy, great customer service, super efficient. It was perfect! I would def come back here again. Great value price! I wasn’t expecting to be that comfy for the price to be honest. 10 out of 10"

"Great place near a lot of fun areas. Close to the bars and nightlife scene if that’s what you’re looking for. Staff is ok w/English speaking for most part. Rooms are small but so are most hotels in Japan, also no guests allowed past lobby area. "
