“With so many negative reviews regarding the size of the room, we paid extra for their bigger room. On arrival we received a friendly welcome and were shown to our room. The entrance to the rooms was having a mould problem, so an extractor had been installed and reed diffuser to mask the smell. The room itself was comfortable, clean, no damp smells which I feared on entry to the block. “If you’re using it as a base, not a bad idea but keep in mind the place is pretty shabby, no shower available in the bathroom a bit smelly and very rundown no reinventing obviously. Put it this way there’s Spains on the chairs you sit on at dinner and there’s a layer of dust so thick it’s changed the colour of the lampshades in the dining room. A real shame as it’s a prime location.”

“We always enjoy staying here. There were weddings taking place this weekend so it was busy and there was a delay on food in the evening and for breakfast, but we didn’t mind this and when it arrived it was hot and tasty. As usual the lounge music was just up our street and very relaxing. All staff also very professional and polite.”
