โNice hotel. Staff very friendly. Room was nice if a little compact. Very clean. We had room 203 which was a dormer room so sloping ceilings. Not so good if your tall, particularly in the shower. Cant speak fo the other rooms though. Plenty of parking when we were there.โ
โA pretty village pub in a lovely location. Spacious room ( we were given an upgrade), very comfortable bed. Excellent well cooked breakfast. But best of all the very welcoming friendly and efficient staff. They could not have been more charming and helpful โ
โThe gentleman on reception was very helpful and friendly. Although I had a small single room it had everything I might need and was very well organised. I will be returning for sure.โ
โGreat place a little off the beaten track in beautiful countryside. Great breakfast
Only slight negative is that coffee in room and at breakfast could be stronger ( we are French!)โ
โSolo trip post hiking the Seven Sister's Cliffs. A beautiful and calm place to go to after a challenging hike. My room had a gorgeous view of the English Channel and the entire room and bathroom felt like you were staying in a top spa accommodation. Breakfast was of an array of nice choices. I will come again with my family!โ
โThis is our go-to lodging when attending the opera at Glyndebourne. A wonderful, country house in Uckfield, set on beautiful, expansive private grounds. Comfortably and exquisitely furnished, it is always a pleasure to arrive and occupy the spacious common rooms and assigned bedrooms. As frequently encountered in England, old properties may lack some modern amenities Americans are used to like air conditioning and convenient USB charging ports. Televisions are dated; rooms do not have clocks....
โReally good hotel. 24hr reception and check in helped us as we didn't arrive until 9:30pm and the welcome was excellent. Family room was clean and fantastic. Will definitely use again.โ
