Wonderful ryokan stay at Yufuin Kutsurogi no Yado Nanakawa. The location is very convenient, close to Yufuin Floral Village, quaint shops, and many restaurants. We enjoyed the half-board stay, and the food was sumptuous and beautifully prepared. The room was peaceful and comfortable, with a relaxing private onsen. A perfect place to slow down and enjoy the charm of Yufuin.

The property itself was super spacious. The best part was using the whole building to our own. We didn’t get bothered from anyone, nor did we bother someone else. The Onsen was also very enjoyable. I would definitely come back here with my family again.

Very interesting landscape and loved the osen. It is one of the few private osens where I could bathe with my partner. One thing that should be made clear on the Expedia description is that you can only pay with cash!

All rooms have their own onsen, I can enjoy onsen with privacy at any time. It’s very convenient. It’s a very comfortable hotel. The staff are very nice and helpful. Personally, I love Japanese meal, so if they can provide a traditional Japanese breakfast, it would be great.

Had a little hiccup when trying to find the property, but owner will provide instructions to get to the property and parking. A really nice Japanese style Onsen Hotel with great staff and a warm atmosphere. Their traditional Japanese breakfast was amazing as was the family onsen. Just a short walk from the train station and super close to all the shopping and food stores on the Main Street.
