“A clean, well maintained, and picturesque hotel in a lovely location. Reception staff and bar staff were helpful and friendly, the restaurant was a little more chaotic with missed food orders, unable to answer questions about food, and dropping used breakfast cutlery in our laps causing us to have to change clothes. “A quality hotel with great facilities including golf and a spa. The staff are exceptional and friendly and helpful. The food is first rate and the Indian executive chef delivers among the best curries I've ever had. The rest of the menu is pretty good as well.”

“ Clean good sized room. Unfortunately no air con but fan supplied. Good choice at breakfast and plenty of parking but you do have to pay which always irks me at any hotel.”

“The staff were extremely helpful when we suffered a bad experience with our food on our first night's stay. Stick to the basic meals on the menu, like the burgers and fish and chips! We booked a bed, breakfast and evening meal deal for 2 nights, to celebrate our wedding anniversary, but, on reflection, should have booked everything separately, because we would be over £100 better off!! Apart from being placed at the worst, and least private, table in the restaurant, we only had a limited menu...

“The places was not well equipped, with it being over 30 degrees- only a small fan was placed in room. The windows did not open fully. No water placed in room knowing it was going to be hot. The outside needs update and not what the photos show. Breakfast was nice but.”
