“We loved our stay at Hotel Volcan Verde. This hotel used to be known as Arenal History Inn up through about three months ago. It's near downtown La Fortuna, and tons of restaurants and shops are within an easy walk. With that being said, the hotel cabins are just off of the street enough that you feel like you are in a different world. (FYI, many hotels in this region, some of which are very pricey and opulent, are nowhere close to the downtown of La Fortuna.) There is also tons of parking spots...

“The hotel was nice and clean the restaurant was delicious and had a good breakfast. The pools were clean and well maintained. We stayed in a basic room my suggestion would be for them to add towel racks or hooks to hang up towels in the bathroom once you are done using them.”
