“Lovely hotel, modern throughout, and incredibly comfortable beds. Super convenient location very close to Gatwick Airport. We received a discount voucher upon check-in for food and drink, which was a nice touch. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and checking out was a breeze.”

“Was a cool hotel, very nice looking. However our room was a bit run down, the toilet didn't want to flush unless you repeatedly pushed the handle a lot, the sink sprayed water at you unless using a trickle of water. A lot of the carpets in and around the room was stained. But it was good for a quick one night close stay to plans. Staff were very kind.”

“Staff excellent in particular Nadine from reception. Unfortunately we stayed during a storm that caused problems in the areas around the hotel. Power cable came down near the entrance to the hotel grounds blocking the entrance. There was a separate entry via the golf club but a tree had gone down on the main road. Nadine did a great job keeping people informed on what was happening around the area and site. We have stayed there many times and the staff are always excellent.”

“The comrade between staff, staff and clients makes this a MUST RETURN TO venue.”

“Beautiful, historical venue. Really special. Additional premium/luxury touches could help elevate it to 5*. It has the potential. Food is great.”

“The staff was the worst I’ve experienced in my month of traveling England. They weren’t friendly or helpful and made me feel like it was a burden staying there. And I stayed 3 nights. And there’s absolutely nothing close by where you can eat. The cook was the only pleasant person. The place has absolutely no warmth to it.”

“This is a gem we intend to return too having only booked one night we did not get to use the pool etc. The staff were incredibly friendly, both receptionist and especially at breakfast Yes as people have said you are on a golf course and it feels a bit intrusive overlooking the putting green but thats why there are curtains 🙂 Thank you for such a pleasant stay”

“Lovely staff but hôtel is quite down-at-heel. Probably wouldn’t go back.”

“We would stay again”

“Enjoyed our 3 nights stay. Breakfast was fantastic easy parking, and great facilities with comfortable rooms and good WIFI, would return in the future”

“Absolute heaven from beginning to end. Delightful staff, the most beautiful lawn to sit out on with a drink (and fire pits for the evening), great food, super comfortable room and amazing spa treatments. Best weekend away ever!”

“Great hotel, you get what you pay for, bed was comfy enough but could of done with some more pillows, shower gel dispenser was hanging of the wall but everything else was great”

“A great time with the family at a classic, cozy hotel. A beautiful view for breakfast. I recommend it 100%.”
