"The receptionists were pleasant. Nice lobby/ interior decor. Very nice, spacious room, and comfortable bed. Love having a balcony with a gorgeous view of the mountains. Really good buffet breakfast, and love their selection of teas. Served the best buffet breakfast out of all the hotels we stayed at during our 2-week Switzerland trip. "

"We only booked this hotel for one night with the view of catching the glacier express in the morning but stayed for 3 nights as the town experienced bad weather with no power. The hotel went above and beyond to make guest feel welcome on the subsequent night. They didn’t charge any of the guests for the 2nd night stay as the there was no power at the hotel (not their fault as the whole town didn’t have town, infact the whole valley was without power for 2 days. "Amazing property in a beautiful location, the views are truly breathtaking. it’s a shame the staff weren't as pleasant. Especially the waiters in the restaurant area. Some of them were very strange in the faces they would pull, maybe smiling is not a thing there or perhaps they’re just so arrogant. They need to remember they just work in the hotel, they don't own it. "

"Where do I start. We had booked for two nights but got hit with an incredible, once in a century, snowstorm. This led to nearly 2 days of no electricity and three days of no trains leading to us needing to stay four nights instead. I can’t praise the management and staff enough for the care, service and hospitality they showered on us. What could have been a nightmare turned in to an unforgettable experience and we can’t thank them enough. "
