"Our first visit to Hiroshima and so glad that we chose Hotel Granvia Hiroshima South Gate to spend our 4 nights there. The standout highlight was being greeted at the hotel reception by Makiko who guided us through check-in, then went above and beyond expectations by delivering us a hand-written note and maps of Hiroshima, to make the most of our time in the city. We asked for a quiet room and this request was fulfilled, the hotel's location being superb with so many eating options within 3-5 minutes of the front door. Breakfast was extensive and entertaining, especially with the cat-faced robot going around collecting empty trays and dishes."

The location was awesome, close to everything - restaurants, shopping, sightseeing etc. the breakfast was like nothing I’ve seen before with fish, chicken, rice, soup, eggs etc. you’ll not go hungry. The staff was always professional and attentive and they had all the amenities and facilities you need. "

"Great hotel with great location and a great price! Rooms were spacious and clean. Staff was very friendly and helped with luggage forwarding. Some amenities were provided in the room, others were available at the front desk. Towels and trash were changed and water was provided daily. I appreciated the television having youtube and netflix available. I would most definitely stay here again the next time I am in Hiroshima!"
