“perfect breakfast. rooms are clean. staff are friendly. Free parking in hotel can be challenging, but there are places close by you can park with charge. In busy times, having dinner at restaurants in the town can be difficult. Either book it early or eat in a different town like Ambleside.”

“A very quiet old fashioned style which we loved. Excellent breakfast. The entrance gate is a challenge! We would certainly return to this charming very centrally located guest house.”

“Nice clean room , room was on the ground floor at the front so there was a bit of road noise . In hindsight as I was up early for a sporting event I should have asked for a room further away from the road . The bathroom was very nice but decor and furniture in the room was a bit tired , and the bed was not to me and my wife’s liking but that’s just a preference I guess . Generally a very nice place and perfect for our stay”
