“The room did the job - but numerous issues. Missing some basic necessities like a bedside light. Had to use the public wifi from the bar downstairs which was choppy at best. The problems started right from the beginning. Check in according to the website was 10:00pm. But at 8:30pm I had a message saying I wouldn't be able to check in after 9 as the bar shuts at that point. I was on a train so unable to get there for that time, and somebody very kindly stayed to let me in, but they still...

“We spent a lovely night at the B and B. Everything was perfect and they even left a G and T and beer in the fridge for us to enjoy and fresh milk in a jug. The beds were extremely comfortable and the water piping hot. The breakfast in the morning was lovely and our hosts could not have been more welcoming We will return again”

“The staff were lovely, they were all so friendly and helpful especially Fay and Callum. The room was nice, had a Mountain View, bathroom had lovely shower, nice fluffy white towels. Everything lovely and clean, plugs by the bed and enough plugs in the room. Window shutters are great. But - there is no on-site parking, it states that there is. Parking is a public road opposite the hotel, free, but it gets very busy. And the restaurant was really noisy when we were there on a weekend. Good food.”

“Stayed for one night, had food in the restaurant which was lovely and the staff made me feel very welcome, which was reassuring especially as I was travelling on my own. Room was clean & tidy, got a good night sleep. Room had a kettle, hairdryer and iron, even a couple of complimentary biscuits which is always a nice touch. Would definitely stay again and use it as a base for exploring. ”

“What a fantastic B&B, free parking right behind if you are lucky. The accommodation was lovely, the rooms are brilliant, our room (right at the top) was boutique style with a nice big bath in the room, great views out of the windows. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate making facilities in the room and a private toilet. Nice comfortable big bed with a big heavy duvet and plenty of pillows. The hosts were very friendly and helpful.
