"Love everything about the Yancey!! Especially the gazebo like hut at the top of the dunes! Great friendly staff especially Danny who was so welcoming to visitors!! Fun breakfast set up..Clean rooms! Great spot!!"

"Shutters is in a great central location on the Outer Banks. We stayed in two different rooms. An updated room on the third floor with a walk in shower an ocean view. The rest of the time we were on the second floor. Not updated but okay. There are a lot of different categories of rooms here. If I stayed again I would call the hotel and get an explanation of the room types. Being a first time guest it confused me. Staff was wonderful everywhere we went. I used the gym. Nice and cold. But didn’t use the pools or hot tub. I would stay again just chose a fourth floor ocean view tower room for best view."

"Very very clean!!! Breakfast lady was very friendly. No pets allowed which helps with cleanliness. Breakfast was exceptional everyday and coffee was great!"
