"on the beach, nice location.but week before memorial da, considered off season.tiki bar not open.aviator restaurant,horrible, well below hilton standard. you have to pay for coffee, you have to pay for breakfast,no happ hour,no drink specials,food needs a complete make over, to get up with the times,seafood not on menu on the beach!!! shrimp and grits, with no grits, way over priced.now in fairness i took m dog, but was only offered room cleaning once.i took out the trash 5 days in a row.again no offence,but ordered a blood mary one morning,no vodka,no celer,no olives, tomato oiuce, thats it.staff is training,all from the phillapines,hotel need a good manager and a revamp"

"First time getting a room with the kitchen at this property typically we stay in the towers. Was told it has the bare necessities for kitchen. As far as silverware went there was one small spoon, one big spoon and one knife and one fork we asked for more and they said they were gonna bring it right over. It didn’t happen so the next day we asked again and they finally brought it and we were told he forgot. This our second time here we love this property. We love the location. Hot tub is nice and the pool. Everything‘s always clean. It’s a quick easy walk to the beach."

"pet area needs to be lighted.It was totally dark except for 1 small solar light. Also the removal of pet waste was not upheld by many. Due to pet area being so dark, I had to report to the desk staff of a peeping tom. I also found that the cost of $10.95 per person for a buffet breakfast with powdered eggs and over cooked french toast was excessive."

"Check in was a breeze, upon arrive they were painting the outside woodwork. This is an old motel, so I did not expect it to be so good but to my surprise it was it was very good. We got an ocean view room, and it was clean had comfortable bed. The shower is small enough for one person, the coffee pot is small makes one cup but there is a 7/11 a short distance down the road. The ocean view rooms all have chair just outside the rooms and the beach is right at your room. The Nags Head fishing pier is right next door and is currently being remodeled but it like it would be open very soon. I would not hesitate to stay there again. I can't say much about the other rooms, but the beach side rooms are nice and clean and no odors. Thanks for the great stay."

"Location great. A bird sanctuary across the road. Beach right behind hotel. Harris Teeter a couple miles up the road. 15 min drive from wild horse tours. 15 minutes from the Town of Duck. Staff very friendly. Free breakfast bar with good waffles."
