โThe Cairn Lodge is one of the most beautiful places weโve ever stayed. Beautiful historic architecture in wooded setting, well maintained, accent lighting, beautifully furnished and stylishly decorated. We loved dinner and breakfast in the atrium. Food and service were impeccable. Relaxing bar area, easy parking. Easy in and out. Rooms were also beautiful. Comfortable. Richard gave us a warm greeting and service along with all waitstaff. โA truly wonderful experience. The comfy bed offered a great night's sleep. Gary, the innkeeper was exceptionally helpful. The Scottish breakfast was superb. Plus being only a 5-minute walk to the center of Pitlochery, and a quick 5-minute drive to Blair Athol distillery, was a plus. A real value for money. โ

The bed and other facilities were quite uncomfortable as well. There was no concierge service, which I found inconvenient. Apart from the nice views and the historical charm of staying near the castle, I didnโt find much value in the experience.โ"
