I asked for a room on the ground floor because I recently had knee surgery, but I was put on the third floor and there was no elevator. I stayed 4 days but only saw two other guests in that time. but it was only a couple feet deep in the center of the building and no place for lounge chairs. the first day the shower was lukewarm. The next morning the water was cold and I complained to the manager. the third day it was lukewarm again and the fourth day it was cold. The in-room safe was so small I couldn’t even fit my laptop into it. The hotel was on the corner of 5th Ave. and 10th St. there were bands and karaoke going on at night starting at about 10 PM. I had to wear earplugs but could still feel the bass booming. on the last day of my stay, I went on a tour of the cenotes. I was told it would take 2or 3 hours and we left at 9 AM so I thought I would be back by 12. I told the manager that I was worried I wouldn’t be back by noon so they told me I could check out at 1 PM. The tour end up taking 6 hours so I was late getting back. My phone had died during the tour so I couldn’t call saying I would be late. The manager said I had to pay a late fee. I asked her if she could waive the fee since I didn’t have hot water during my stay, but she refused. I can’t recommend this place at all.
