"Great location. Really quaint, quiet but within walking distance to everything. Walk to the castles. Many are right nearby."

"Beautiful place in the heart of old town. We were extremely delighted in the quaint, personal feel of the hotel. Views are amazing! Just a note, it might be difficult to get to as the taxi can’t take you to the front and one has to navigate an incline. Tip, you DO NOT need to take the stairs up to the hotel, just navigate up the road to the left. Highly recommend. Staff was always pleasant and helpful. We would definitely stay again "

"Location is excellent if your plan is to visit city centre as almost everything is walking distance. Also means its a busier location that can be noisier late into night. Presently road works & diversions also adds busy traffic. Room and facilities are very good and very comfortable bed, hotel is quaint boutique style with period touches everywhere. "We had a wonderful stay at the Republica Bed & Breakfast & Arts. Manuel greeted us and showed us around the facility . We needed some medical supplies and Manuel very kindly went with us to help secure them.The facility is open, clean ,breezy and very comfortable .Breakfast was tasty and Anna is a sweetie. Manuel gave us suggestions on places to eat and offered assistance on places to visit. ( although we had already got our trips set ) The B&B is in a great location with access to all...

"This apartment is not in the city center, but there is a metro station right outside; also a park across the street, grocery and other shopping both around the corner and a mall across the street. The hotel itself is quirky, the second floor of a residential building, so a bit of a challenge to find and figure out. Good, plentiful breakfast included."

"This hotel is the perfect airport hotel, we arrived really late and greeted with wine and cake! Room was clean and comfortable and in the morning a basket of delicious breakfast! What a treat, highly recommend this place!!!"

"A pianist played beautifully during breakfast each morning. She was joined by a violinist on Saturday. The staff was very attentive and obviously happy to work in such a beautiful historic manor. Many quiet and well decorated spots around the property and inside the manor enabled us to enjoy the treats “free for the taking” throughout our stay. We came back 3 weeks later. 😄"

"I loved this hotel being central for town, bus station, boat trips and market. Very helpful friendly staff and ideal for solo female, safe door lock. Buffet breakfast included and adequate with fresh fruit and pastries. Front room does overlook small bar table area but not overly noisy and no music. Cathedral close by and main tourist attractions/museum. Bus to airport 9 at end of road which is promenade walking area and sea. Great short stay. Steps to access."
