“Beautiful “old world” hotel with a quaint European flair. Loved the antique furniture, marble floors and ample guest rooms. Walking distance to Federal Hill, as well as to many nice shops and restaurants. The beds were very comfy. Only downer were the vagrants that camp out on the sidewalk right in front of the hotel. ”
“Room stunk of cleaning materials. Never received 6:30am wake up call. Bar TV did not have cable for college football. When I arrived, numerous people smoking weed in large patio in back of hotel. Location was great. Parking was fine. I was alone so no problem. I would not recommend for families ”
“Stayed here for our anniversary and found the room clean & updated. Plenty of parking, good location and a great brew restaurant next door. You get a 10% discount to the restaurant. We enjoyed breakfast, the coffee was nice & strong & the service fast & friendly.
The king bed was very comfy, the bathroom with shower was small but very clean, the shower walls are so cool and the light/fan in the bathroom gives you an option to have a black light (purple), on our next visit I would book the king...
"I checked in to this hotel on July 4th. I had clearly reserved a room with one king bed through Expedia, but was given a room with two queen beds instead. This was the hotel's mistake, not mine. After pointing this out, they moved us to a king room—the room we originally paid for. No apology, no explanation.
Unfortunately, the problems didn’t end there. The new room had a clogged sink that wouldn’t drain at all. We called the front desk, and it took 30 minutes for someone to show up. The engineer then spent another 30 minutes trying—and failing—to fix it. That’s a full hour of our travel time wasted because of the hotel’s lack of maintenance.
Despite all this, the front desk still didn’t offer a single word of apology. Instead, they claimed the new room was an “upgrade,” even though it was on the second floor with a terrible view. Frankly, that felt like a weak excuse rather than any form of customer service.
This experience was unacceptable. I will absolutely not be returning to this hotel, and I strongly advise others to look elsewhere. Poor service, poor communication, and no accountability"
