We really enjoyed our stay. The staff was very accommodating and helpful! We had the preferred club with a tropical view, the hot tub on the balcony was definitely a highlight of the room. The hydrotherapy water spa was amazing as well. The only downside was Mother Nature; a storm came days before our stay and caused a lot of seaweed to wash up on the resort

Our experience with this resort was outstanding. The staff really made it memorable, with our concierge Daniel Rodriguez being amazing. We had an ocean front room with a separate bedroom, it was worth every penny of the splurge! The view, of course was amazing, but the staff again really made the experience. From the little extras to a special reservation for dinner and a romantic breakfast, Daniel treated us like royalty. I cannot recommend this resort enough, you will not regret it.

This was my first time staying at this resort and I already want to come back. The food was so good everything other than the dessert selection was amazing! I wish i had more time to try all the restaurants. The property was so clean and well maintained, it seemed to be someone cleaning something the whole five days i was there. The staff were also so nice and helpful and I love how everyone spoke and asked if we needed anything. The drinks on the secrets side were better than the breathless side. Our room was also very clean and they took the time to organize the things we left out. We visited for our honeymoon and my birthday and we can’t wait to return.

The beach although beautiful had too much seaweed to enjoy the water.The beach front view from our Jr suite in the Secrets side of the resort was stunning.The spa was fabulous and for the first time experience, its a must.I had the liberty of enjoying both breathless and secrets and equally love them.I recommend this resort and I will returning.

The rooms were very well maintained and they kept the mini bar stocked daily. The staff was very friendly and very helpful when needed. The beach view was not so pleasant it had mounds of seaweed at the foot of the beach you couldn’t go and put your feet in the water so I didn’t like that. The swim out was amazing though and they brought food and drinks right while you were in the pool. The food was not the best I was looking for authentic meals but nothing really grabbed me and the drinks were awful you never tasted the liquor it was all diluted from the ice or juice.

This all inclusive hotel was amazing!!! Glad i choose it to pop the big question to my now fiancee. The meals had that wow factor over and over again. Im a big steak guy and I swear I had the best New York strip of my entire life. All the meals had this same effect. The drinks were also amazing. I could not come off the mango daiquiri. Also make sure you hit up the coffee shop. My fiancee loved the lattes and i got addicted to the double cortado. The staff was amazing and room was always spotless. The concierge service provided to us was two guys, Gamboa and Daniel. Helped us with booking things around the hotel, let us know what was going on around the hotel for daily activities, and assisted with our off site adventures. These guys were amazing and made the trip stress free. There was plenty for us to do on days when we weren't off resort from the night club to the nightly concert or DJ. Did not spend much other than tips with time at the resort. Can definitely spend more at the spa or specialty meals but we did not go that route. The complimentary hydrospa was fantastic and the meals were out of this world amazing. Why spend more? Overall absolutely fantastic experience, 5 stars, highly recommend!

The rooms were clean and well maintained. The staff go out of their way to welcome you and take care of your needs. The pool staff are so friendly, especially Luis. He was so friendly and entertaining. A lot of them even remember your name. The only complaint I have is we ordered room service 1 day and it never showed up. And we had to call twice to get snacks and beveridges re filled in the mini fridge. The resort itself is beautiful, the food was good, we had a relaxing week.

We chose Secrets Riviera Cancun expecting a luxury adults-only experience, but it started with what felt like a bait-and-switch. Before we even got to our room, we were taken to a “VIP welcome” that turned into a vacation club/timeshare presentation. We were promised a free 50-minute massage and discounted romantic dinner for a 90-minute presentation. Once there, we were told the massage required coupons we’d receive later, and the “90 minutes” turned into hours of aggressive sales pressure. The “trial” we purchased was also a watered-down version, not the premium program we believed we were trying. Our first “oceanfront” room in Building 1 (room ending in 08) had a heavily obstructed view due to nearby buildings, including the Unlimited Club building. If you’re paying for oceanfront, avoid this location. The highlight of our trip was our butler, Daniel. He listened to our concerns, moved us to a much better room the next day, and provided exceptional service throughout our stay. The food was average overall, with Silk being the best restaurant. Most restaurants, entertainment, and amenities are actually on the Breathless side, while Secrets has only one pool and one restaurant. The shoreline water was brown during our stay, although staff worked hard to keep it clean. For the price, we’ve had much better luxury resort experiences. We’d recommend staying on the Breathless side or choosing another resort altogether. Daniel was the only reason this review isn’t one star.

I can't wait to visit Secrets again! My friends and I had an amazing and unforgettable time. From the time we stepped onto the resort to being greeted by the staff throughout our visit, to the multiple food options - nothing was missed! The master suite was such a treat with a wide swim out pool, which was a space of refuge for me. I'm already planning my next stay!

Our room was spacious and the view was beautiful. The staff was AMAZING!! Luis at the pool was sooo much fun. Daniel at the pool was very helpful and soo nice. I definitely recommend this hotel if you want to get away and get some sun and rest in peace.
