"Chateau Frontenac is a venerable and iconic lodge that isn’t resting on its laurels. Despite being 150 years old, the service and staff and accommodations are still at the top of their game. My only complaint, and it’s a thin one, is that I understood there was a spa with a dry sauna and a wet sauna. Only the men’s locker room has both. The women’s just has a wet sauna but it was broken. Boo hiss. For a world class hotel, arguably one of the best in North America, this is unacceptable. We went to Strøm Spa instead and spent a wonderful day (and a not insignificant amount of money) enjoying the thermal spa facilities. "
"Perfect short vacation spot friendly staff conveniently located near some of the best restaurants, bars and sights. Spotlessly clean and a true European ambiance loved it "
"I visited Quebec City on my own and without recommendations from anyone. I could not have picked a better hotel. It is beautiful and clean. The staff was exceptional!! They answered all my questions and helped me navigate my way as needed. I did not go to the pool but it is beautiful and many people to advantage of it and was never overcrowded. I wish I had gotten in inside balcony room. You don’t stay in your room much but such an amazing option."
"The hallway is a bit dated but the room was fantastic! Very clean, spacious, bright, and modern with a brick wall to remind you that you’re in a historic building. "
