“We stayed in one of the Chato Suites, one of the most beautiful decks and views in my travels. Excellent staff, great breakfast, well designed and maintained pools. I will stay again if I come through”

It is worth noting the location is very remote. If you do not have a car, the hotel was very helpful arranging taxis. The final road to get to the property is a very bumpy road so we didn’t want to leave more than we had too. We wish we had an extra day we could’ve spent to just enjoy the property...

“What a lovely vacation at Finca Sunset! I had low expectations going in because the pics don't do the property justice. There are multiple buildings on this property and I got my own two bedroom house complete with a full kitchen (stocked with breakfast), a jacuzzi tub overlooking the mountains and forest, and a private garden with plantain and banana trees. “When we arrived my wife and I we were welcomed by Jerry and Geraldine from the firs moment they makes us feel VIP . All of their staff share the same goal to make us feel important, and we were. We estayed for four nights, and our experience was 100% ++ satisfied. Hotel rooms, garden, food, location, and the river in the back was great 👍 We recommend this hotel 100%”

“The view and the owner/hostess made our stay! The personal attention at breakfast was delightful. This feels more like renting a villa with a morning chef than like a hotel. There are a couple good restaurants at the bottom of the hill for dinner. The drive to La Fortuna is 30 minutes. Be aware there is no air conditioning. There are windows with screens on 3 sides of the villa so the breeze is nice. In the morning you’ll hear a beautiful symphony of birds. I would stay here again.”
