"Perfect for a solo traveler. It was probably the smallest hotel room I’ve ever stayed in, but as soon as I settled, I found it quite comfortable. I was on the 11th floor in the corner room and truly enjoyed the window view of the railways and the passing by Haruka express trains. The only issue I had at first was an air conditioner that blew a seriously cold air into my face at night. Sleeping without it was not an option, but later I found my way around it. I also did not visit the public baths, since they were always crowded. But that has not affected my stay, and I still think that my time in Kyoto was the most beautiful and rewarding holiday ever. Everything was very clean and organised in the hotel. I liked that the TV showed the cleaning schedule, bath status, weather, and many other interesting and important pieces of information. The staff was super friendly and helpful, very professional. The hotel is located just a few minutes away from the Kyoto station, and I found it very convenient for everything I wanted to do or see as a first timer in the city."
