"A great place to visit the south/east side of Kyoto. Lovely building with good facilities and a cute garden as the pictures show.
We stayed in mid/late February and found that it was rather cold, but this is normal for residential buildings in Japan. The air conditioner was used to heat the house and this was adequate.
This is a spacious option for 2-4 people and a welcome change from western style hotels that tend to be more cramped."

We almost left the hotel as soon as we walked in! Adults only!!! Very very weird, we would never ever stay here again.
We paid $50 cab ride everyday plus had to wait for a long time for them to call a cab.
