"The room was a bit tired, but the staff did mention that this wasn't one of the fully refurbished rooms at the moment. STAFF were excellent! Free parking with the right registration process is a God-send."

"Hotel falsely advertised and awful communication, we booked to stay for 2 nights, on arrival the on site car park was shut, we entered reception to find no one there, all we could hear was people shouting at each other and the place was dirty, as a couple we felt very unsafe about staying here and had no choice but to find somewhere else to stay. Since returning home hotel.com agents have been trying to contact this hotel on our behalf via phone and email to get us a refund but the phone lines are always busy and there is no reply via email!! Very poor. "

"Lovely reception staff, friendly, helpful, asked questions to then recommend things to me proactively-the people do make the difference & they’re doing it right here! Room was very nice-soft bedding & very comfortable bed, great shower, nice looking bath if I’d been staying longer. A few errant hairs from previous occupants but in good condition & very clean otherwise-I’m not annoyed in any way-hairs do happen on cleaning cloths etc-I had no doubt this room had been very well cleaned. Great for loads of local shops & restaurants & right next to principality stadium-I’ve now got a hotel I will look forward to staying in whenever I’m in Cardiff. "

"We have had some lovely stays at this hotel, however, not so great on this occasion. The room was comfortable and the staff helpful. We had a problem with the air conditioning not working and the concierge did try to get it fixed but was unsuccessful so provided us with a floor standing fan which did resolve the problem. Unfortunately though sleep was extremely difficult as there was a bar/nightclub playing very loud music until around 3am, which was out of the hotels control but did definitely negatively affect our stay. However, we would consider staying again if we could have a room on the other side of the hotel."

"Although the early check in was appreciated, for some reason we were given an adapted room. As it was in a quiet area of the hotel we accepted it. I took a shower after checking in but the shower was blocked and flooded the whole bathroom. At 5pm I was told there were no maintenance staff on duty so we had to move rooms. This room was much noisier, on the main road. Not the best nights sleep"
