โGreat location, clean smart room overlooking the beach. Parking in Brighton is expensive. We put the car in the car park next to the hotel for two nights at a cost of ยฃ60!โ
โIt was a cozy and impeccably appointed hotel room. The staff were always friendly and greeted us with smiles. I chose this hotel after checking the ratings on Hotels.com and Google, and there was a good reason for the high rating.โ
โGreat location for a quick trip. Hotel is good location by the sea about 10 mins walk from train station. Nice little room at the top of the house which was greatly decorated and good view over the square out to sea. Can imagine the room gets hot on a nice day. Breakfast was nice.
Was four floor walk up the stairs or a very slow lift. But expected in a period property.โ

We were looked after from start to finish with a friendly manner and great enthusiasm.
The facilities were very good and the restaurant offered good food at a reasonable price.โ
โThe room which I choose, given the option and price was absolutely perfect. The only thing I had an issue with was that in the shower cubicle there was body wash but no shampoo or conditioner.
Would whole-heartedly stay here again.โ
โSt Marys Gate Inn looked extremely comfortable, clean and welcoming in the photo's online. Believe me when I say, it is much much more when you arrive.
Welcomed by Lola on arrival (we were much earlier than expected) we were shown a table for Sunday lunch straight away (Food is excellent both flavours and presentation). The room was exceptional, huge main area, immaculate bathroom, tea and separate coffee facilities in the room, two huge windows. Bed was very comfortable, just a very relaxing...
โThe hotel was in a great location, right on the seafront and within a 10 minute straightforward walk to the Lanes. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and had a higher professionalism than I've encountered recently in London hotels!
The room itself was spacious, clean and with a gorgeous view of the seafront and pier. I would definitely stay there again.โ
โWhat a lovely place to stay! Located in a lovely area with views of the sea this place is great to stay for a little weekend in Brighton. Check in was really easy and the room was perfect! Breakfast included was a huge bonus. Staff are really helpful and friendly especially the young lady on reception, Can't remember her name but she was a star a real highlight to the place. Will definitely be staying here again!โ
