West Bergen, Jersey City hotel rooms at the Preferred

"Don‘t book. It‘s not a hotel. If it exists at all, it’s a private accomodation in a private residential. We went there for check-in exactly at the right time given from the hotel and couldn‘t find it under the address. No sign, no bell, nobody picked up the phone for 30 min. We called Expedia. They couldn‘t reach the reception neither. Telephone number was in a different area code. Google showed another address under the name and it was the same problem. The neighborhood didn‘t look save. "I would recommend this hotel. The TV did not work during my stay, transportation was pretty good using the NJtransit app. The room could use a full length mirror to apply makeup this would free up the use of one bathroom."

"Nice place but needs to up its game. The area doesn't seem too safe. Especially late evenings/nights. I wish the towels and the couch were cleaner. The bathroom is kinda small, but the price is great for one night."
