“Clean, comfortable room in a location giving easy access to the centre of York. Not really for 4 grown up people though. More like 3. Perhaps 2 adults and 2 children would've been OK. The second bed was small. ”

“The hotel is perfectly placed in the centre of York and easy to get to. The staff were lovely and were able to accommodate giving us a lower-level room, which was so helpful (especially when pregnant in a heatwave!). There were lots of options available in the mini bar as well as teas, coffees, etc. The room was very comfortable and clean - we will definitely return next time we come to York.”

“Location was close to Shambles. Adorable room. Luckily on the first floor. Stairs were narrow.”

“A very convenient location not far from the city centre. Host contacted us to check check-in time and give property/room codes, so very easy to access. The accommodation and room were a bit shabby: fraying carpets; couldn't reach the Velux to open it without standing on a chair (average height); Velux blind that did not stay down at night so we had to open the window and wedge it in the crack to keep it down; very squeaky rolling bathroom door which woke us up whenever someone wanted to use the...
