Stayed at Matfen Hall (5*) a few days earlier and this stay was so much better in every way - food, room size, decor, staff, comfort, value for money and attention to detail - well impressed! It was an added bonus to be able to enjoy the farmers’ market in the beautiful grounds!”

“We really enjoyed our overnight stay at this hotel. It provided excellent value for money. Parking was easy & free. The dinner menu offered various options. We found the staff to be polite, courteous, friendly & helpful. The spa was lovely to relax in for a couple of hours. We upgraded our room to a premium room. It was recently refurbished, spacious, tastefully decorated, and well equipped. The shower was excellent, no bath. We will definitely stay again.”

“It was nice stay especially the staff was really nice and kind. One of staff walked together to show me how I can get to the center. I liked peaceful calm hotel circumstance but it takes 15 min from the city center so I couldn't take a rest when I have a spare time between the meeting.”
