"Upon booking the staff made contact asking about our travel plans as well as plans for our stay in Hanoi. They recommended a few different tours etc and we decided upon a V’ Spirit Halong Bay 1 night cruise. We also took them up on the offer of an 630am airport pick up for the five of us.
Our airport pick up went well and upon arrival at the hotel we received a warm welcome to go with our welcome drinks. A family room was provided to rest and store our things until our rooms were available to check-in.
Our rooms were adequate and certainly made use of the space. Beds were comfy, air con was quiet and worked well and the showers were good. The rooms were quite dated but tidy and clean.
The hotel itself was tidy, clean and reasonably well maintained. The breakfast buffet was disappointing with the photos making it look bigger and better than it was. The only thing smaller was the “restaurant” itself. A few small tables is about the size of it.
The location is in a great part of town handy the the markets, the lake, many many cafes and restaurants and bars and shops.
I would definitely stay there again just without the buffet.
P.S the recommended Ha Long Bay cruise was fantastic!!!!"
