"Hotel musse is in a very poppin and centralized part of Kyoto making it easy to get to many locations. The property is well maintained and clean. The staff were so kind and even though we placed a do not disturb notice they left care packages at our door every day. "We started five nights. Very friendly staff and helpful. The location is accessible to many restaurants and shopping centers. We loved the onsen bath which was a plus after a long day sightseeing. However I’d prefer a larger closet. Only thing was the closet size. I recommend the premier and up if you are looking for larger room. All and all I’d start there again."

"Everything about this place is amazing. Excellent location (chaotic the moment you step outside the door, but incredibly convenient), capsule was so cool and extremely comfortable (enough room for bags, bed is bigger than usual, and you can even make bed into a couch to chill), bathrooms super clean and they have enough showers and bathrooms for each floor. This place has mastered the hostel socialization environment. As a solo traveler, I made a bunch of friends here to go out to dinner with. They offer a happy hour in the evening with free beer for guests so it’s really easy to meet people and the common area is very comfortable and well designed."
