“We stayed in room 1. The room was large with plenty of storage space and nice furnishings. There were lots of nice touches. A sherry decanter, nice biscuits to go with your tea, a chocolate on your pillow each day and some water in the fridge. The bathroom was large and there was a range of nice toiletries and lovely fluffy towels. The only thing that wasn’t so good was we could hear the people above us walking around, and they certainly walked! However I appreciate that this is due to the age...

“다시오고 싶은 조용한 휴양지 같은 호텔입니다. 윈드미어역에서 내려 짐이 많아 택시를 탔는데 오분거리로 8.5파운드 였던것 같아요. 푸짐하고 영국식 서빙을 해주는 조식과 아름다운 호수풍경이 기억에 남네요. 보네스 시내와도 가깝고 택시타도 버스요금 정도예요.”

“Cozy and warm place to stay. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The food is great too. It takes twenty minutes to get to the railway station. Highly recommend. ”

“We had a lovely night here. The hotel is really clean with lots of character & beautiful gardens. Our room was cosy, the bed was really comfy & the shower was hot! Plenty of teas& coffees to use & good quality toiletries too. Breakfast was amazing with plenty of choice of hot food cooked to order & a good assortment of cereals., yogurts & top quality fresh fruits. Thecstaff were all very friendly & helpful. It was a 5 minute walk into Bowness or the lake. Can definitely recommend this hotel. ”

“Family room was spacious, king bed with extra single, space for a travel cot. The hotel old, and is a little tired and dated. However, looking past this it is overall a nice place to stay. Worth considering if visiting the area. ”
