"Parking was a complete mess. Called ahead to make sure they had parking onsite for a truck and trailer. Staff said absolutely. Arrived and it was not the case. We were told we needed to find our own they had no way to assist. First time in Nashville so this was an undertaking.
Morning staff working the front desk at 6am when spoke to politely asking a question about coffee ignored me at first then as I walked around to get her attention found that she had ear buds in watching something on her phone. When she noticed me she acted perturbed and when asked if there was creamer or additional coffee instead of standing up to assist she said no when in fact it was sitting on the bar right behind her. Not happy with this stay at all. "
"The hotel was great. Perfect location. The staff was beyond excellent! We arrived at 6am, asked if we could do an early check in and within 5 mins we had keys to our room! The room was clean and very spacious. Shower pressure was meh, but what hotel has powerful water pressure!? The complimentary water bottles were a plus, but be cautious, if you touch any other drinks/food in the room you’ll be charged for it!! There was Voss water, a bottle of wine and some snack foods that were apparently on pressure things so if you moved it you would be charged! There were two downfalls, one was the bill at the bar, we went and had a pre-going our shot and the $80 bill for 3 small shots was a shock. The second was that there was no pool so if you’re booking this hotel for the pool - it does not exist. The pool photos are apparently old photos and they’ve just never taken the time to remove them. Aside from those two things I give the hotel a 10/10 because everything else was great!"
"Not a bad stay for the price. Very convenient location with uber being $10 to Broadway at peak hours. It’s an older hotel and it shows, but it was decently clean. Traffic is awful at rush hour, but that is just Nashville. Breakfast is available, but it is not good. Staff were very helpful. Would stay here again!"
Holiday Inn Express Nashville Downtown - Broadway by IHG
6/10 Okay
"Breakfast was ok not much of a selection. Staff was wonderful. Rooms are very outdated, bathroom sink drain slow as well as the shower. Walls are thin so you hear everything. Very noisy at night. The manager reception is a joke. Don’t bother going there is one protein (very spicy wings or pig in the blanket or mozzarella cheese mini meatballs or barbecue meatballs), one vegetable celery or cherry tomatoes. The mixed drinks are very expensive for a six ounce glass."
