"How you feel about this hotel depends on what you care about. It is not updated in many ways and a few features were obviously outdated and not functioning 100% (janky shower head, sticky door, stuck curtains). It’s an aging grand lady. But the beds were comfortable and it’s in a quiet area, an easy walk to the main attractions and cool glass elevators (may give you vertigo if you’re afraid of heights). Staff at the lobby bar were super unfriendly"
Holiday Inn Express Nashville Downtown - Broadway by IHG
6/10 Okay
"Breakfast was ok not much of a selection. Staff was wonderful. Rooms are very outdated, bathroom sink drain slow as well as the shower. Walls are thin so you hear everything. Very noisy at night. The manager reception is a joke. Don’t bother going there is one protein (very spicy wings or pig in the blanket or mozzarella cheese mini meatballs or barbecue meatballs), one vegetable celery or cherry tomatoes. The mixed drinks are very expensive for a six ounce glass."
Comfort Inn Downtown Nashville - Music City Center
10/10 Excellent
"Hotel is well located near music row, the Gulch and Downtown.
Property is generally clean and maintained on the surface, but under the surface not so much.
The front desk staff is is efficient, but not super friendly. Definitely not a Hilton or Hyatt.
The free breakfast is pretty good though. "
