"Wonderful location for a large family gathering. The rental was in great shape and we loved having the 2 units and large lofts for our family Christmas. The beach view from the balcony is slightly obstructed by the not so beautiful toy rentals right in front of the house. It really didn’t bother us and it was worth it to be right in front of the beach and drive in access. Staff responded promptly with any concerns and check in/out was a breeze. Would rent again. "We stayed at Cottage Inn while in Pismo Beach for a big classic car show. One disappointing thing was that there was only one parking spot per room and we had two cars with us. The desk staff was extremely nice and apologetic. They were able to offer suggestions on a neighborhood we could park a car in that was walking distance. It worked out okay but was nerve wracking. The room was nice lovely gas log fireplace. We had a puppy with us and there was a nice place with a great ocean view to walk her for morning and evening potty trips. One other complaint would be that it was very noisy. The rooms were not sound proofed at all. You could hear lots of noise from other rooms and from the parking lot. I will say that the location was good, the fire pit areas above the beach were lovely and the front desk staff were all wonderful."
