Ueno, Tokyo hotel rooms at the Capsule and Sauna Century Group

This is the place to stay in Tokyo. Great location, tons of food options nearby, close to the train station. Room was nice and clean, full kitchen, and laundry in the room. Highly recommend!

New hotel, large 800sq ft room at an affordable rate. Knowledgeable, friendly staff. Restaurants, trains and convenience stores were all closeby. Quoet neighborhood.

Location is perfect- close to bus station and asakusa; very clean and has everything we need; staff was very helpful in asking questions about the trains.

Queen room we originally reserved was very small (as advertised in size), so we decided to upgrade to a larger room (two twins) and it was great. Excellent shower / bath combo, high end restaurant (Italian, not Japanese) and very helpful stuff. Location is great, really close to Ueno station and everything is relatively easily accessed.

One of the most affordable hotels we stayed at during our trip to the Japan and SUPER worth it!! Room is condo style so it came with kitchen area, washer/dryer and a little living room area. Walking distance from train stations, street shops and restaurants but the hotel itself is near a quieter street. Definitely recommend this hotel. All hotels we stayed at were clean and welcoming :)

Excellent all around! Spacious, clean, convenient to trains, great neighborhood, walk to all!!! Recommend highly. Especially for privacy, whole floor is dedicated for your stay.

Truly loved this place in Tokyo. It's VERY close to the train station that has the JR Yamanote Line, where you can go all over Tokyo fairly quickly. The place felt very new and CLEAN! They have you take your shoes off right as you walk in and you put your shoes in a shoe locker, where you will be given slippers/slides which makes the floors feel very clean. This hotel was very close to JR Ueno Station so there was easy access to all of our excursions. It was about 5-6 minutes walking. It was so close we even walked to station with our suitcases and backpacks instead of taking a taxi on our way to airport. Very clean. Great service from staff!

As an American family of adults and teens, this hotel was wonderful for a visit to Tokyo. The "Superior studio" was enough room for three adults or teens. We used the extra bed/couch for our stuff and there was still room to sit at the table and eat together. The staff were very helpful and communicated well in English. It’s beautiful room. My husband & kids loved here. The location is so convenient with many restaurants nearby, close to station & market with a short walking distance. The park in front of hotel is so beautiful with cherry blossoms. The staff is so friendly & nicely. Front desks are fast service & come to our room to instruct us how to use washer/dryer machine. We will recommend friends staying here & we definitely come bac. Everything is perfect.

We are a family of four and enjoyed having our own separate beds. We also liked that room cleaning was every three days rather than everyday. They provide clean towels daily and empty out your trash. They provided three breakfast options ( a Japanese meal, and two western options) which I found delicious but they are the same each day. We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location was incredibly close to the train station, which made getting around the city very easy. The room was surprisingly spacious and accommodated all five of us, which can be hard to find in Tokyo. The beds were comfortable and we all slept well after a long day of exploring. The staff was also very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Overall our experience was very pleasant and would definitely stay here again.

This apartment will change towels and empty trash every day, unlike the last apartment in Osaka that I booked. The front desk staff are very helpful.

We felt like we were able to enjoy a traditional Japanese ryokan experience as a foreigner. The attention to detail was excellent and the staff was all very helpful. The location is quiet, but gives you easy access to a lot of transportation. We also enjoyed walking around the neighborhood and over to Asakusa. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others who are seeking an experience with more culture than an average hotel.
