โI was able to use the washer and dryer and it was nice to be able to cook and eat meals easily, but cleanliness needs to be improved. Especially washing machines, dryers, microwaves, and in-room air vents are more important.โ
โJust a few things when I first entered my room there were ants crawling over the kitchen area I bought some eco friendly big killer and the bathroom sink was slightly backed up but thatโs it everything else was fine โ
โWe have stayed at Founders Inn for multiple visits to the Virginia Beach area. Beds are comfortable and rooms are clean. We love the easy access on and off Interstate 64. It sits close enough for day visits to the beach, but has a nice size swimming pool if you just want to stay put. The restaurant has a great staff and the food is good. We will stay there again when in the area. โ
โMy husband and I stayed at the Schooner Inn for two nights while visiting family. It was perfect for a quick trip. The room was spacious and clean. We loved the location at the end of the boardwalk. Parking was readily available and everything was in walking distance. The pool area was small but we didnโt go to the beach for the pool so that didnโt matter to our stay. Iโm not sure I would choose to stay here for a whole week with young kids if I wanted a pool to swim in regularly, but for the...
โThe chairs were dirty in the initial room we checked into, however the staff moved us to another room. The only problem there is that the base of the toilet was dirty. I informed guest services โ
โOur stay was amazing. We were able to check in early as I arrived at 11am and check in was not until 3 but once they found out we drove all night from Florida they checked to see if a room was ready and let us check in. Room was very spacious and being able to cook for my son in law was a huge plus! The best part was being able to do a fast super early am check out when we left.
