“We had a lovely stay at Ensana, Buxton Crescent. The room exceeded expectations & the Spa & swimming pool was perfect. The only criticism during our stay was the evening meal at the restaurant. We didn’t feel the food & service given matched the quality you would expect from a 5 star hotel. There are plenty of choices within walking distance of the hotel which we preferred. ”

“When i arrived I was not sure where to go and got to meet Ralphaldo who is the concierge that put me straight in the hotel's golf buggy and took me to the reception. He was great to talk to and was a lovely person to chat with and so cheerful. The suite was amazing and spacious, it was also clean and spotless. The staff were lovely and were extremely helpful in the restaurants and made wonderful suggestions. The food was amazing, each restaurant was great and had their own wonderful menus”

“Fantastic hotel in central Manchester - 2 minute walk to the metro. Lots of great bars and restaurants in walking distance. Hotel room was clean and spacious with comfy bed and electric blackout blind. Lovely swimming pool which guests can pre book for a one hour slot. ”

“Welcome drink on arrival... Still waiting for it! Raised issues with staff that were handled professionally but could have easily been avoided. Buffet style breakfast with choice of additional cooked to order dishes and continental options 5*. The surroundings were breathtaking. Would recommend as peaceful retreat for all to stay and enjoy local area with much to see and do. 10/10 to cocktail maker Alex.”
