“Great stay at Roanoke Island Inn! Service was amazing and loved that they give you complimentary water bottles and snacks/beverages to make the stay that much nicer. The room was very clean and the AC unit worked great. The location is so nice with a very short walk to numerous shops and restaurants. Would definitively stay here again!”

“I have stayed in many places, Kittyhawk, Doug said etc. this is my number one spot for now on. The best part was the one floor so I could keep an eye on my autistic son other places have three floors, and I have to go up and down the stairs a lot but thank you”

“I recommend especially if seeking R&R. Initially, not totally impressed with the location as I drove into the parking lot. However, the updated room and the water view was outstanding. I would highly recommend! ”

“Beautiful property and access to the beach. The pools were clean. The breakfast was great (waffles, muffins, cereal, eggs, bacon/sausage, coffee/juice). Unfortunately, our room by the pool had a constant leak through the concrete at the front of the room. The floor/carpeting near the door was constantly soaked and never dried. Room smelt like chlorine and the air was very humid even with A/C on. Room 122. Hopefully they will fix the leak because the mould will continue to spread, I imagine. The...

“Great to stay”

“Seems strange but the property was all but empty, off season, yet the room above us was booked with noisy guests and we were put in a room with a parking lot view when better views were available. Upgrading rooms…good thing but was not a bother to us. Some upgrades were done in our condo which were very nice!”

“Kitchen was well stocked but refrid needs to be updated with ice maker. Kitchen cabinets and oven were not clean. Outside was poorly lit and there were no street lights which made entering the home at night difficult. ”

“Convinient and clean. Lcoation was good. Access to beach directly from the hotel for a great sunrise view was a plus point. Room was too small for a family of 4. Not enough space to move around. Bathroom was aso too tight. Breakfast options were okay. Overall good for teh price in off season. ”

“Property included lots of activities for families - shuffleboard, table tennis and indoor pool were our favorites. Everything was clean and stocked ( pots, extra bedding) and included free laundry machines! ”

“We enjoyed our stay but the hotel is old. The room had a musty smell, the bath tub had rust spots and black marks. The bathroom was dated and there wasn’t a handheld sprayer in the shower which is nice if you’re a woman. To access the balcony (we had an oceanfront room), you have to open an exterior door and step over a tall threshold. For the price of the room I did expect something a little nicer. ”

“This hotel is a great value. The room was spotless. Check in was a little interesting, a note in the lobby said to call a phone number for check in. The first attempt to call went to voicemail. But about 5 minutes later I was able to get a hold of someone and check in. I’ve stayed here for years, I hope this place can stay as good as it was in the past, even if I had to pay 20% more I would to keep this place as an option. ”
