"We love coming to Celtic Manor this is our favourite place as we got married at the lodge there back in 2010 . We normally book through the main website but as times are hard we looked at an alternate site which was exactly the same as the main site saving us £80 . We always enjoy our time at Celtic Manor "

"Really beautiful hotel. Decor some of the best I’ve seen for a hotel, beautiful and stylish. The spa area was small but gorgeous. Staff were really friendly and helpful and made us feel at home. Didn’t give full marks because - additional payment for outdoor pool (!£25) seems a bit money grabbing on top of the room rate. - related to this limited hours in spa for people staying at hotel detracted from experience - no gym. "Overall, the accommodation was lovely – not five-star luxury that we’d expected for the price, but we had a lovely trip away. Fridge is very noisy which resulted in a restless sleep on both nights. There was noise from the neighbouring room - you can clearly hear talking from there. No details provided on COVID precautions anywhere in the room. "The room was fantastic but the check in experience was very poor. We had a printout from an email which said to use the Gileston Manor Courtyard with cream gates as the entrance, upon arrival at 7:30PM (more than 3 hours before check in ended) the gates were locked and the number provided was going straight to voicemail. Texts and voicemail was left with no response. After waiting for 20 minutes with the car hazards on, on a main road, we decided to look around and parked in the Manor Estate...

"This is a special place, beautiful grounds, where you can walk freely walk. Our daughter had the opportunity to feed the Alpacas and sheep, which was very special. The accommodation is fantastic, we stayed in the Stables, which has a conservatory, it mkes all the difference to open these doors to the garden at the back. All in all, a very special place we can't wait to visit again! Lovely staff, very helpful and friendly."

"Fabulous property, has everything you could possibly need."

"One of the showers was a little too hot for some of our tastes. The double bed was very hard and difficult to sleep, but it was also very warm whilst we were there. The owners were really communicative before our stay and when we got there. They left us some bread, milk and essentials which was really appreciated. The cottage was warm clean and comfortable and perfect for what we needed in our two night stay. We were going to Cardiff for the speedway so the location was a little far away and...
