"This is a great location and the spa is very nice in the hotel, especially after a long day of touristing around. Two things to note though: it’s a Japanese hotel and you have to take your outside shoes off before entering the hotel (everyone must do this); there are lockers, but people should know that. Second, no tattoos in the spa. So if you have a lot of them, you can’t use it. This is standard at a lot of onsens, but is actually enforced here. Finally, they have a great breakfast and also free soba noodles at 9 pm every night. Very nice touch!"
