Fresh fish and other choices. The continental breakfast is truly a full fresh breakfast. Everyone knows you and wants to help you. There are fishing tours readily available and we spent a good Part of the week hiking about and lying on the empty beaches. Lots of sailboat cruisers around to chat with and other areas...

"Atlantis is a spectacular property. The sheer scale of the resort, the incredible marine habitats, and the thrill of the waterpark are completely unmatched. Walking through the Dig and seeing the sharks up close was a massive highlight, the beaches are pristine, and the grounds are beautifully maintained. However, our vacation took a turn for the cinematic when the resort experienced a power outage. Normally, a brief blackout is a minor inconvenience—unless you happen to be stuck inside an elevator when it happens. Yep, I was trapped in a pitch-black elevator mid-floor when the grid went down. It was a nerve-wracking, claustrophobic experience waiting for the backup systems and staff to coordinate. While I was safely extracted in the end, communication from the resort during the immediate aftermath could have been much sharper given the size of the property. Atlantis is absolutely a bucket-list destination with world-class amenities. Just maybe take the stairs if it looks stormy, or pack a little extra patience just in case! "Was in Santo Domingo to run a 10K. Opted for the Sheraton and it did not disappoint! Beautiful property, easily accessible to everything. Staff was amazing specially Jacinto and Mary at the front desk. They made me feel right at home. Whenever in Santo Domingo, this will definitely be my go-to place."

Comfort Suites Paradise Island

"This is my second time staying at the Comfort Suites and both me & my boyfriend enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was good & had fruit everyday. Having the option to put our bags in the luggage room was very convenient & helped us out a lot. The best part was the access to Atlantis & the gym there especially for the last day of our stay. The only downside to staying here was the ceilings were leaking everyday on the third floor."
