“On room had a lake view and the staff were great!”

“We saw the beautiful grand exterior online and believed that's where we were staying. Alas, when we arrived to check in, we were told that we were actually staying in an adjacent building. This was news to us. We were walked out a side door, bags in tow, across a street, and into another building. “Room was well equipped and spotless. Set in the most beautiful setting. The restaurant and bar as so perfect you never want to leave. To top it off the staff could not be lovelier - genuinely couldn’t do more to make us more comfortable and at home.”

“Stayed at Hoopers Hotel for two nights with my wife and baby and had a really nice stay. The room was comfy, we all slept well, and the sea view was lovely. Nice little touches with tea, coffee, snacks, and a ceiling fan to keep the room cool. Even though it’s on a busy road, it was surprisingly quiet. Really good value for money. We would definitely stay again.”

“I am sorry to say that the property was not what I expected. The area to park in was chaotic with cars parked all over the place so when I arrived after a traumatic journey, I was trying to find a place to park in the pitch black with no lights apart from my car lights. The room was not hoovered. The ‘kitchenette’ was dangerous due to the curtains being close to the air fryer. The toilet seat was loose, broken. There was barely a hello from the owner and he watched as I struggled in the rain...

“A really pleasant stay overall. The room was generously sized, clean and well presented, and breakfast was a good spread to set you up for the day. Finding the entrance on arrival was a little tricky, though that's more a familiarity thing than a reflection on the place itself. Would happily return and recommend.”
