"After an extensive search on Expedia for hotels in Edinburgh, I couldn’t be happier with our choice of Apex Waterloo!!! The hotel, room, pub, pool and location were all EXCELLENT. Hotel is within walking distance of all major attractions. Very happy either way our stay 😍"

"Everything about the hotel was lovely. The staff were helpful and efficient. The room was very clean and nice, but our view was of another building a few feet away instead of the pretty gardens. Breakfast and dinner were very good. We would recommend staying here. An airport shuttle would have been much appreciated."

"Likes: Location Castle views Dislikes: Bed was very hard Feathers... duvet, pillows... Multiple times asking for extra towels only for housekeeping to take them and not replace them. The heat! I understand that old buildings don't have AC but a screen in the door or something could help."
