"Bathroom was a bit rough. Tub wouldn't drain, the drain cover was off, and the shower curtain was separating from the wall. The beds were comfortable enough and everything clean. The French bakery attached to the hotel was amazing. Within walking distance of the field museum, planetarium, and aquarium. Good enough for a quick trip to the city. "

"Located close to several restaurants and public transport. Staff was wonderful. But the hotel itself was quite run down and dilapidated. Old carpet, bed was sinking down in the middle, scuffs, dings and scratches on virtually ever surface, poor workmanship everywhere, exposed piping and wiring in the hallways, etc."

"Room and bathroom quite small. Bathroom sink tap very difficult to navigate. Window very dirty. Everything else fine, very nice bed. Staff polite and helpful. "

"Grand historic property, conveniently located. Opted for a larger deluxe room, which was a good value. Bathrooms are small bull well appointed. Only critique was daily supplemental activity charge, which was not expected and not a great value. "
