The nature trail on the property was a nice bonus. Great location near the national park and close to other restaurants, too. Staying at the Kilauea Lodge was the highlight of our trip."

"I had a wonderful stay at Dragonfly Ranch. Initially I gave a bad rating for check in experience because nobody was there for me to check in. And later I found that it was because a staff had to go to hospital for emergency and usually someone is there. All staff are warm and helpful. The owner, Barbara is full of knowledge of health. "If only we could have stayed longer! We had booking the glamping unit, but because of water issues Theresa switched us to the Bungalow, which was so cosy. She agreed alternative breakfast arrangements as we had to leave early on checkout. We only had time to meet the chickens and ducks at the doorstep, but we saw the donkey and goats sheltering from the rain! I would definitely recommend staying here if you're making a trip to Volcano NP. "

"I celebrated my husband birthday here and the host Carol and his wife worked with me to surprise him with a delicious birthday cake. They bought the cake and surprised us. The stay was amazing, if your not planning to stay in all day as we were pretty much out enjoying our activities and slept most of the 2 nites. Waking up to their delicious bed and breakfast was a plus not to mention their breath taking view. If you don’t mind sharing the living room with other guest and value your bedroom...

"This resort was relaxing and enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again if I had the opportunity. The only reason that I did not give it a perfect review was due to the really weird design of the window in the bedroom. It was a corner window that faced into the outdoor entrance to the condo. We always had to keep the blackout curtains tightly shut. Now, the patio on the other side facing the pool and the ocean made up for it. This is where we spent our time when we were in the condo. "Check in was snow, the room guaranteed by 4:00 pm, I was there at 3:40pm and they won’t let us to the room till 4:00pm, this resort didn’t provide shampoo and conditioner, it is kind of weir."

"Excellent property, and wonderful, helpful staff. We had an ocean front room, which was amazing. The pool is great for kids and adults alike. The property is also located a little away from the busy part of Ali’i drive, which makes it great to relax at the end of the day after a day full of activities but is conveniently located near beaches and grocery/convenient stores. I highly recommend the property to anyone planning a trip to Kona."
