"The hotel itself is a bit old, but good condition I’d say so. some reviews say it’s in the “hood” or not good area, yes there are some homeless but none of them bothered me or asked for anything. I recommend the pronto pizza, there is also a taco bell/KFC near by and a snack shop incase you get hungry. The room I stayed in was clean, there was really only a stain on the curtain but it didn’t bother me, it is loud at nice but that’s city life in san francisco, the king bed was comfortable and the shower was nice expect the water pressure was kind of rough haha and the staff is okay, we asked for more toilet paper in the morning but we didn’t get any, we had to ask the front desk when we came back at night so i think that’s one thing they need to work on is the staff and room service. overall, nice stay for 3 nights "

"Staff were friendly, convenient location and amenities. Room wasn’t clean, towels were covered in hair and smelled bad. Bathroom ventilation didn’t work and window wouldn’t open so it was damp and musty"

"Both mornings of my stay a housekeeper violently banged on the door and entered the room despite me saying I was in the room. Today at 9am. I called to speak to someone at front desk and they told me ‘this isn’t out department’ then proceeded to tell me I’d be charged $25 per hour if I checked out late and that I owed $8 got a bottle of water. The room yesterday was not made up properly. I barely slept because of the fear of someone unknown employee entering my room. The linens were also stained. Gross. 0/5 stars. "

"Staff is excellent! Room cleaniless need more attention. There were a lot of grout meldew in shower. Carpet is degusting dirty. Parking is expensive. Guest at Hilton should get a 50% discounted rate."

"Hotel Nikko is near tenderloin so be careful walking around at night. The room we got had a Bluetooth speaker in it so that alone would make me inclined to book again. The staff were really nice. The lobby looks clean and modern. It’s a bit dusty in the rooms which caused a lot of allergies but otherwise good stay. "

"Awesome stay at the Chancellor! Absolutely nothing to complain. Very very clean! It is located in a strategic position, all the touristic places are at walkable distance or BART Powell station 2 blocks away or cable cars. Lots of choices. I thought being on the second floor that my sleep could have been disturbed but it was quiet. Price is super compared to nearby hotel. It’s a real deal for the excellent quality and service received. Highly recommended."
