“The room was very clean , comfortable bed and crisp white linen and towels. Lots of hot water for a nice hot bath . The lady on reception was very friendly and welcoming. We arrived late in the evening so didn't drink in the bar. The breakfast was brilliant, good quality produce and good coffee. All of the staff we encountered were friendly and attentive. “Room are very tired and really need decorating, woodwork around the shower was rotten in a couple of places radiator was old and rusty. However the bedroom was ok ish. Bar was very pleasant but the kitchen was closed early with no notice so no food available. Plenty of parking. Breakfast was advertised as full breakfast but this was not available a minimal continental breakfast was available which was very basic.Really not a place I would want to stay at again.”
