“Property was immaculate. Great views. Customer service responded quickly. Having a kitchen on site, parking, decent size fridge/freezer and coffee machine… all big bonuses. Only downside was the laundry machine and dryers were very small and even after drying for an hour our clothes were still wet. Overall, I would stay again but don’t depend on the laundry facilities being fast. 😅”

“The hotel is centrally located in Funchal close to the mall, grocery store and the boardwalk. The kitchen is great with a full fridge to store snacks and water. The restaurant downstairs offer a fantastic lunch for great price of 12 euro. The included breakfast is awesome with a great al la carte section breads,cheese and fruit. All staff was great but Kaitalin was fabulous and created a beautiful driving tour for us along the coastline!”

“Good location, we walked into town a few times or a short bus/taxi ride. Bus right outside the hotel including the airport bus. Really good breakfast, some more vegetarian options would be great. Staff especially reception staff were really helpful. Didn't like: upgrading to partial sea view was disappointing.”

“Lovely breakfast. Nice room. Great pool area. Overall very good. For a 4 star hotel, I’d expect some milk to go with the tea and coffee. And a bottle of water to go with the glasses provided. Asked about both and was told neither were included. Disappointing.”

“천국같은 마데이라 섬을 더더욱 즐겁게 즐길 수 있게 해주는 곳 이에요 건물은 오래되었지만 관리가 잘 되어있고 직원분들이 무척 친절하십니다 위치도 푼샬에서 가장 좋은 곳에 있는 것 같아요 각종 내, 외부 액티비티를 액티비티 오피스에서 예약할 수 있고 수영장 시설도 좋고, 정원이랑 피트니스도 있어서 그냥 이 호텔에서만 지내도 심심하지 않을 것 같았어요 조식도 너무 잘 나오고, 냉장고 속 소프트드링크랑 물은 무료였어요 수영장이 생각보다 너무 일찍 닫는것만 빼면 천국 같은 호텔 입니다~”

“The location and views were amazing, but unfortunately, several aspects of our stay were disappointing. There was an overwhelming smell of vinegar in the room, and the patio was covered in ants, which really detracted from the experience. We were also shocked to discover that pool towels cost €10. Charging guests extra for something as basic as a pool towel feels unreasonable and left a poor impression. We can’t comment on the breakfast itself, as we had to check out before 7 a.m. We did,...

“Fabulous hotel stay. Large room with very comfortable beds, house keeping excellent, breakfast very good with excellent hot and cold food choices. Amazing pool with various sunbathing areas and sufficient loungers. Good snack bar for lunches and drinks by pool. Good indoor pool with sauna and steam room. Walkable into old town, with supermarket, and good bars and restaurants in local vicinity.”
