“Amazing comfy beds! We had travelled from Gatwick airport and had quite a long day, the hotel was perfect. Shower was amazing and beds were so comfortable. Staff was super helpful, we had misplaced a wallet and the front desk staff called the places we had been previously and helped us look through the room. Highly recommend - we didn’t eat at the restaurant but everything else was absolutely perfect.”

“3 Horse shoes was great, for some reason our bedroom got mixed up, was supposed to have a family room but got a double. Staff sorted the issue, i dont know but apparenty is was an Expedia mix up. Issue was sorted by the morning even though we arrived late, cool pub with a kids soft play and decent playground. Foods nice, staff great.....”

“Very nice stay”

“Very spacious and in quiet area. Kitchen for breakfast time was great”

“The staff at reception are very helpful . The property location is ideal and easy for the M4. Have stayed there a few times and always very pleased with everything.”

“Would have been 5 stars but breakfast let it down. You have to go over the main road for it which isn’t ideal. Also we had to wait 50 minutes for our breakfast to arrive. In the establishments defence it was a car rally day and they were frantically busy. But as we wanted to get on our way it was frustrating.”

“The staff were helpful and cheerful. Breakfast was good. The shower curtain was too short and the water sprayed out the bottom causing the floor to be wet and slippery across half of the bathroom.”

“staff very helpful, spa and gym a great addition Breakfast, if not booked at time of booking or check in was very expensive but in line with hotel pricing. Very close to mermaid quay where other great options were available. Parking - expensive due to location but an oversight on my part not checking this before booking. Wont put me off staying again however as hotel was exceptional with cracking views of the Bay”

“very clean and kind”

“This place had the best breakfast I had in my entire trip. Cooked to order and it was just fantastic. The building seems to be very old and even spooky, but overall the stay was pretty good.”

“Amazing old building. Rooms a little bit tired but good value. Very close to Cardiff Bay. Decent breakfast”
