San Diego Coast, California hotel rooms at the Independent

"Cockroaches in room, room was not tidied after the first night (I only stayed two), room was basically in the alley- I’m not exaggerating. "

"Excelente staff. The hotel needs a lot of maintenance, carpet was dirty and old, walls were cracked , a lot of spiders in the room. Breakfast was okay, only one person working in the breakfast area, poor employee, in high season, this area needs to be reformed."

"Our favorite and only place we stay on Coronado. Beds are comfortable, property is clean and feels safe. Pool and outdoor area are lovely and staff is always friendly and helpful! It’s nice to see the same faces every year we come. We also love the free bikes that are available to use, as well as beach chairs, wagon, etc"

"Not at all.. They did not like the idea that we had service even though i spoke to manager prior on showing . Their welcoming is very poor instead of perhaps saying to welcome to the Marisol hotel. They said we dont see notes from manger, by then i was livid and I didn't say much...i didnt want them to ruin our stay and now that im back i will let the manager and all our friend s and family, do not book with them Ever!!!"
