“This was a last minute booking for us. We literally booked it 20 minutes before our after-hours arrival on a Sunday night. We got there, it was well lit, we called the after hours # and were greeted within minutes. Parking on site close to our room, and complementary. The room was perfect, clean and modern. There were vending machines for snacks and drinks also in well lit areas. The location is great freeway close, but also in a nice safe quiet area , on a great street where you can walk around...
“This is a nice, clean and convenient hotel and only 5 minutes to SLO and 2 minutes to Whole Foods and other shopping. The staff and manager are top notch, friendly and accommodating. While it has a nice pool, the only thing lacking is a jacuzzi. I have stayed here for 4-5 days for each of the past 3 weeks for work and will be returning for 2 more weeks.”
“The grounds are beautiful. The view and sound of the waves crashing are amazing. The room was quiet. The bed was very comfortable. Upgrade to a beach view room with a balcony. You won’t regret it! Purchase the s’mores kit at the check in desk to enjoy around one of the three fire pits. We met a wonderful family from Switzerland. And get up early to enjoy the beauty of the ocean alone. (But being a blanket or towel because the chairs may be damp from overnight fog.) ”
“While there isn't much in the way of 'personality' in this hotel, it is very clean, comfortable and offers a super breakfast. The pool is very small but kids will still have fun there. Staff is friendly but you really don't interact much with staff outside the breakfast room. Strange things: our towels were replaced but the coffee and cups were not replenished. Had enough but just a little strange. Beds were made daily. Very comfy quiet place and convenient parking, great location. Dog...
“Absolutely Wonderful Stay!
From start to finish, this hotel exceeded all expectations. The included breakfast was amazing—delicious, fresh, and a perfect way to start each day. We also loved the evening snacks and wine hour from 5–6pm, which added such a special touch.
The staff truly made the experience unforgettable. Everyone we interacted with was incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming. A huge thank you to Ellie, Dante, and Julianne—you made us feel right at home.
