The Westin Bonaventure Hotel and Suites, Los Angeles

"The customer service was excellent -with the front desk staff very kind and welcoming and made my check-in very quick and smooth. The valet staff were also very kind and quick with my vehicle requests (they kindly opened the door for the two of us- passenger and driver, daily). The lobby level restaraunt staff was also very hospitable and provided great service during breakfast. The hotel was clean and grand (i.e., shopping, dining, rooftop pool. and the gym) and I loved the different towers layout. I did not walk to any nearby attractions, but the location was convenient and easy to get to in the downtown area. The room itself was very spacious and clean with a comfortable bed and comforter. The only down side was that I couldn't find an iron and ironing board, unless this was located elsewhere or upon request? I will definitely stay here again when I return to Los Angeles, CA."

"Good hotel when staying in LA for Universal . Hotel and rooms do look a little tired in places and in need of a refurb. We had a corner room on the ninth floor which looked over the freeway . You do experience traffic noise all day and night so if you are a light sleeper , may want to think about ear plugs . Staff are helpful and friendly"
