โI stayed at the Gjelina hotel over a weekend to get some intense work done away from the distractions of home. The staff were incredibly helpful, shoutout to Elliot especially. Lots of places to sit and hang out (or work) like the rooftop terrace, the courtyard, and even the lobby. Great to have Ocean Front Walk right there for high energy breaks and walks. The room was surprisingly quiet for one block from the beach.โ
โThis is legitimately one of the best hotels Iโve ever stayed at before. It was welcoming, friendly, clean, safe, in a great location, and right on the beach/boardwalk. I now know where Iโll be staying upon my return to Venice/Los Angeles. Five stars all around!โ
โAliza provided a really comfortable and quaint stay. I love this area of Venice, right across the street from one of the best Whole Foods in town and walkable to so many great restaurants and coffee shops. Would highly recommend.
The only feature I'd love to see them add is an indoor lock for the evenings. That would provide an additional layer of safety. โ
"I looked forward to the reviews and went, but I felt cheated. Incredible sound insulation and facilities for a hotel. Everything was old. I had no choice but to sleep in a room, but I'm afraid I'll never visit again. I asked for $60 for a paid parking fee and there are many homeless people around me, so it's dangerous. Don't be fooled by the reviews."
"I honestly donโt understand why this hotel is rated as 4-star. Itโs a run-down building which doesnโt have any proper amenities..
This hotel deserves 2.5 stars. "
